Tis Me and her 2009 Rock of Gibralter colt

Well Armed’s dramatic 14-length victory in the 2009 Dubai World Cup (UAE-G1) gave a welcome boost to one of Runnymede Farm’s young pedigrees.

Well Armed’s dam, the stakes-winning Notebook mare Well Dressed, is a full sister to Runnymede’s own mare TIS ME, who earned nearly $120,000 with eight wins.
 
Tis Me was purchased by Runnymede at the 2005 Keeneland November sale for $47,000. She has a three-year-old colt by Peace Rules and a two-year-old filly by Arch. The latter is retained by Runnymede and is training in England with Brian Meehan. She foaled a colt by Rock of Gibralter this spring.
 
Well Armed is a Grade I winner in America, too, and has pushed his career total to $5,179,803 with a 7-for-23 record.
