Ordination sweeps to victory 5/18/2009
Making only his second North American start, Runnymede Farm's homebred ORDINATION (Ire) won a $33,720 optional allowance race at Golden Gate Fields on May 17th, 2009. The 4-5 favorite circled the leaders into the stretch of the 1 3/8-mile turf test and won by 1 1/4 lengths for trainer Eoin Harty. His record now stands a neck shy of being 3-for-4 lifetime after breaking his maiden last July at Newbury for trainer Brian Meehan.
Four-year-old Ordination is by Fantastic Light out of the Seeking the Gold mare Seek Easy, whose three starters are all winners. The family features champions Fanfreluche, L'Enjoleur, La Voyageuse, and Medaille D'Or.
