The three-year-old colt by leading top sire, Gun Runner had a very impressive win on Sunday, February 5^th in Dubai. Sharar broke his maiden in his fourth career start at Meydan race track in the third race of the day; a one-mile three-year-old handicap race taking place on the turf. Breaking from post seven wearing cloth thirteen, Sharar found himself in a good position early on, putting himself ahead of the pack and was able to move toward the rail. Coming up on the first turn, in third place, the chestnut colt was still on the inside, keeping a good pace behind the two leaders. As they made their way into the last turn, Sharar swung wide, allowing himself to have a wide open path toward the finish line at the top of the final stretch. He took this opportunity to kick things into high gear and pulled ahead of the competition, leaving the second-place competitor three lengths behind. Congratulations to all of his connections!
