Exciting win today by our 3yo filly Crackin Mischief (Into Mischief) at Presque Isle Downs! Not only did she score her initial victory in a nice maiden special weight event at a mile on the all-weather track that featured older rivals, she also notched the first win for her young dam, the Fastnet Rock mare Nutcracker Suite. Many thanks go to our trainer Graham Motion of Herringswell Stables, Ltd and to jockey Antonio Gallardo, who had Crackin Mischief perfectly prepared and set for the perfect trip. Sent off as the second choice behind older filly Silver Sea (Munnings), Crackin Mischief kept close to the early pace before rallying on the far turn and spurting clear to prevail by 1 1/4 lengths over 4yo Lovely Ever After (Midshipman). We own her with partners Peter Callahan and Andrew Stone. Crackin Mischief was bred by our friends who participate in Breed First LLC and she is Nutcracker Suite's first foal. A winner in Europe, Nutcracker Suite also has a 2yo filly by More Than Ready and a colt by Not This Time born on February 11.
