The very consistent Runnymede sales graduate Gran Runner added another victory to his resume on July 2nd with an allowance win at Delaware Park.

Boosting his record to 14 in-the-money finishes from 16 starts, Gran Runner rallied from off the pace under Daniel Centeno to prevail by 3/4-length over pacesetter Midnight Fire in the 6f dash.

Gran Runner, a 4yo colt, is by champion Runhappy of our Paris neighbor, Claiborne Farm, and is out of the Bernardini mare Walking Path, who is from the family of Kentucky Oaks victress Blushing K D and Hong Kong Horse of the Year Electronic Unicorn.  Gran Runner was consigned by Runnymede at the 2019 Keeneland September sale.
