Collected Sires His First Winner

Runnymede bred, raised and sold, Collected sired his first winner when his son Zenitsu finished 3 1/2 lengths ahead in his second career start July 10th at Camarero Racetrack in Puerto Rico. Collected, a 9-year-old son of City Zip, now stands at Airdrie Stud for $15,000. Winning five graded stakes, including the 2017 $1 Million TVG Pacific Classic Stakes (G1), Collected retired with an 8-2-1 record from 15 starts and just under $3 million.

Zenitsu, bred by BWB Bloodstock and WDS Bloodstock, sold for $22,000 to Jacobo Ordonez at the 2021 Keeneland September Yearling Sale and was then pinhooked at the Ocala Breeders' Sales March 2- Year Olds n Training Sale by Golden Thoroughbreds for $35,000. Confederation Hipica de Puerto Rice bought the Kentucky bred at OBS.
