Runnymede-bred, raised, and sold, Disruptor became a new TDN Rising Star while breaking his maiden this past Saturday at Gulfstream Park. In the colt’s second-ever start, he lived up to expectations, drawing clear from a field of seven and romping home with an impressive 9 ¼-length victory under Irad Ortiz. Disruptor was bred in partnership with longtime client Peter J. Callahan and was foaled and raised at Runnymede Farm. He was later offered at the 2023 Keeneland September Sale, where he brought $1,150,000. Disruptor is owned by Repole Stable, Spendthrift Farm, Big Easy Racing, et al., and trained by Todd Pletcher.
Runnymede Farm & Callahan Equine still own his dam, Margate Gardens. She has a lovely yearling filly by Audible, who will be aimed for the yearling sales in 2025. Runnymede Farm & Callahan Equine will be taking the daughter of Speightstown to Lane’s End’s Candy Ride for 2025.
Congratulations to all of his connections! We are very excited to see where this colt's future leads him!
