Dornoch is running in the Gr. 2 Remsen Stakes at Aqueduct on Saturday, December 2^nd. The two-year-old Good Magic colt, bred by Grandview Equine, has had a very successful career so far. Finishing second in his career debut, and another close second in the Sapling Stakes, Dornoch was in it to win it in this third start last month at Keeneland. Breaking from post two, Dornoch set the pace for the one and one sixteenth mile maiden special weight, making his way to the rail and holding this position throughout. With the second place competitor close on his heels, Jockey Luis Saez coaxed the colt forward going into the stretch, and it was just the push Dornoch needed to make his break toward the finish line, winning the race by six and a half lengths! Saez will be aboard the colt again this weekend. Hopefully this pair has just as much luck together as they did in their last start! These two will break from the third post out of a strong field of ten for the one and one eighth mile trip. Post time for the ninth race on the card is 3:45 PM.
