Bred by Breed First, the two year old son of Uncle Mo and Bodemeister mare, Mezinka, has had his first two recorded workouts this week since he was consigned at the OBS Two Year Old In Training Spring Sale this April. The colt, now named Arthur RNA’d at the Keeneland September sale last year. Breed First retained partial ownership and partnered with Lynwood Stables’ Gene Recio. Gene saw great promise in the colt and took him to Ocala to get him ready for the two year old sales. All of his hard work paid off when the colt was sold to Benjamin Gase for $675,000. Arthur is working with trainer Keith Desormeaux and has worked twice this week at Santa Anita. His most recent was Tuesday, finishing four furlongs in 52.6 seconds.
