Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi’s Dubai-based RRR Racing made a major splash at Wednesday’s single-session Keeneland November Horses of Racing Age Sale, securing
World Record for
$900,000. Consigned by ELiTE Sales, the well-bred colt was originally a $410,000 weanling purchase out of the 2021 Keeneland November Sale from our Runnymede Farm Consignment.
Bred by Runnymede Farm LLC, Falguieres Bloodstock, Gestüt Zur Küste AG, and Meridian International, he has gone on to build an impressive résumé for WinStar Farm and BBN Racing under trainer Rodolphe Brisset.
A standout from the start, World Record earned ‘TDN Rising Star’ honors after a dominant maiden victory at three. He later delivered a statement performance at Saratoga, drawing off by 6 3/4 lengths in the
GII Amsterdam Stakes. This season, he added an allowance win at Churchill Downs during Derby week, finished runner-up in the GIII Aristides Stakes, and hit the board in the
GI Bing Crosby. He now boasts a record of 11-4-1-4 and
$504,540 in earnings.
RRR Racing’s Ed Prosser, who signed the ticket, noted strong international interest in the colt, particularly from connections in the Middle East. Brisset’s former assistant Bhupat Seemar—now a leading trainer in Dubai—is set to take over conditioning duties.
RRR Racing has assembled a powerful roster in recent years, highlighted by G2 Godolphin Mile winner Isolate, GIII Lukas Classic victor Clapton, G3 UAE Oaks winner Rayya, and the multiple Grade III-winning Mufasa (Chi).
With his proven speed and consistency, World Record looks poised to add to that legacy on the international stage.
